Site Dedication for the Desert Shield
and Desert Storm Memorial

The National Desert Storm War Memorial Association was honored to host the Official Site Dedication Ceremony for the Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial on February 26, 2019 from 1030 am - 1130 am. The event was held at the site where the Memorial will be built, which is the SW corner of Constitution Avenue and 23rd Street NW in Washington D.C.

The Site Dedication Ceremony is not to be confused with the Groundbreaking Ceremony or the Dedication of the Memorial. These two additional events will be happening in the future.

We are very excited to have had a successful site dedication ceremony as a positive step toward continuing our progress in the journey to build the Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial in Washington D.C.
